BIOGRAPHY
Debbie Stedman has been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in private practice in Miami, Florida for over 12 years. Her educational background includes a B.S. in Education from the University of Missouri and a M.S. degree in Counseling Psychology from Nova University in Florida. She is also a licensed hypnotherapist, and has over 20 years experience facilitating workshops and groups. Debbie Stedman focuses on the primary needs of each client and custom tailors a plan to help each person achieve a happier, healthier, more fulfilling life.
Debbie began her professional experience as a certified teacher in elementary education with teaching experience in special education, specifically with autistic children. She continues as an adjunct faculty member with Miami-Dade College, as a professor of Human Relations, for over 10 years. Debbie Stedman holds a Primary Certificate in REBT (Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy) from the renowned Albert Ellis Institute in New York. Her 30 years of administrative, project management and employee training experience in large corporations and educational institutions gives her empathy and expertise in dealing with workplace issues.
